Celebrate the Lunar New Year with your family and the teachers from the Haenicke Institute's Asian Initiatives Unit.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED The Lunar New Year is a symbolic cultural event celebrated by millions of people across the world, especially by some countries in Asia. Please join us to celebrate the 2024 Lunar New Year, the year of the Dragon (lóngnián) on Wednesday, Feb. 7th, 2024, at Portage District Library! With lion dance, storytelling, new year lantern craft, new year banner calligraphy try-out, and paper cutting and coloring, the evening will be a happy blast of cultural experience. Please register the total number of people, adults and youth, in your group.
