Cryptocurrencies have been a hot topic for years both as a transformative technology and as a trading commodity. Yet myths and misconceptions often cloud the realities of this technology and can confuse the public. Join Todd Mora from WMU's Sanford Center as he explains what exactly these currencies are (and aren't) and how they function and might factor into one's personal finances.
The Sanford Center for Financial Planning and Wellness in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University promotes financial literacy throughout the greater Kalamazoo community via workshops, seminars, summer camps and research.
