Come to the Poetry Carnival and enjoy a range of poetry activities brought to you by the Friends of Poetry! This event will consist of poetry games, activities, and workshops such as: Poetry poker, individual challenges, group poetry writing, critiques, and even open mic readings.
All are welcome, regardless of age or experience!
Friends of Poetry is a local non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the enjoyment of the reading and writing of poetry throughout the greater Kalamazoo community.
Through readings, workshops, contests, and special events, Friends of Poetry remains dedicated to bringing people and poetry together.

Location Details: Austin, Sugarloaf, and West Lake rooms which are located on the lower level of the library.
