Registration Required

In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month per registrant for Makerspace programs.

Learn to design your own embroidery file with InkStitch! In this program you can take your own image and learn how to create a file to then embroider that image onto fabric of your choice. InkStitch is an open- source embroidery design software working in conjunction with Inkscape. In this program we will cover installing the InkStitch extension, converting a design to embroidery, and how the embroidery machine works!

This program will cover the installation and use of the InkStitch design extension only and will not include any Inkscape instruction. In this program we will cover installing the InkStitch extension, converting a design to embroidery, and how the library's embroidery machine works!

It is highly recommended for participants to have previous experience in vector design programs like Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator. It will be difficult to have success in this program without this experience.
