Sarah Nott will be teaching everyone basic watercolor techniques that can be used to get started on your own masterpieces.
Required registration begins on January 21, 2025 9:00 AM
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month. This is for Makerspace programs with registration only.
If you've never tried watercolors, or tried and didn’t find success, join us as art instructor Sarah Nott teaches this crash course to help you get oriented in the world of watercolor! We will try multiple, different techniques and tools together to give you a better grounding if you'd like to create a work of art using this medium. Zero experience required, all materials provided. This is an introduction to techniques, meaning that participants will not walk away with a finished product, but will learn the skills needed to begin practicing the hobby at home. If you have attended this program with us previously, please know that this is the exact same program and no new material will be taught.
All participants are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Sara at sweyenberg@portagelibrary.info or (269) 585-8710 in advance of your visit.
