Design a template and then use the sublimation printer to make a personalized tumbler.
In order to make sure that as many people as possible enjoy the programs in our Makerspace, we are setting a limit of one program per month. This is for Makerspace programs with registration only.
The sublimation printer in our Makerspace can create images that you can put on a wide variety of items. In this program, you will use Canva to create an image to print on our printer, then use the mug press to put your image on the tumbler. You will need to create a free Canva account before the program. Due to time constraints, some tumblers might need to be made after the program and picked up later.
This program will be offered three in the month of June:
Thursday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 25 at 2:30 p.m.
If registration fills up and you are not able to attend one of these sessions, the Makerspace has Staffed Hours every day where a trained Makerspace staff person can help you with projects such as this one or other projects you might have. Please visit our website for our Staffed Hours. https://www.portagelibrary.info/creation-station/
Registration is required and begins on June 1, 2024 9:00 AM.
Accommodations: All participants are welcome. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Jane Fleming at jfleming@portagelibrary.info in advance of your visit.
